Known as “Suzie Q” to her friends, she was totally immersed in her rat terriers, calling her kennel Fire Fly Kennels. Suzie was a tiny, tenacious young woman, as fiery as her Celtic background, and as loving and compassionate in nature as the terriers she loved. Susie was also a fantastic artist, designing web pages and drawing free lance. 

Suzie attended many rat terrier functions and was always willing to help with anything, including showing of friends’ dogs and helping out with terrier races. Her cheerful smile and voice gathered people in to share her good times with her. Very few people knew that Suzie was as ill as she was, and she kept it that way. Suzie enjoyed life to the fullest.

She is and will continue to be sorely missed by the rat terrier community.
